John White Wilson (born 3 September 1835; died 28 August 1929 at Newkirk, Oklahoma) and Marinda Jane Ray (born 16 June 1838; died 5 January 1906 at Hot Springs, Arkansas) were married 28 September 1856 in Hendricks County, Indiana. They were Hendricks County residents until 1884. Both are buried at Newkirk Cemetery in Newkirk, Oklahoma. The exact date of the photograph is unknown--it was taken sometime before her death in 1906, and was tinted at some point with oil paint (probably around the 1930's).
