WILLIAM B. BRYANT

More familiarly known as “Bennett” is a native of this county having been born in Clay township in 1845. When he was three years old his parents moved to Marion township where Bennett grew to manhood on the farm. In 1863 he enlisted in the 124th regiment for three years and was in several hard fought battles. Since the war his occupation has been farming and teaming. He has been active in the party and is now giving great satisfaction as sheriff.
