was born in Morgan county in 1859. He made farming his business and in 1886 he purchased the farm where he now lives but had the misfortune to lose his left hand—a sad affliction. Mr. Farmer served two years as director of the Hendricks County Insurance company and has been supervisor of his district for ten years. He is an ardent Republican.
