B.F. HAYNES

better known as “Benny” is the son of “Uncle Frank.” He was born in Ohio in 1850 and came to this county with his parents in 1855. He has lived in this county ever since, his business being farming and stock dealing. Some weeks ago he suffered great loss and narrowly escaped death from a stroke of lightning which fired his barn and rendered him unconscious. He is a stalwart Republican and has never held office.
