Republican candidates for county office:
was born in Lancaster county, Pennsylvania, in 1831. In 1854, he left the place of his birth and came to Ohio where he lived until 1860 when he came to Middle township, this county, where he has since lived. Mr. Hoak has served one term as commissioner successfully. He stands well in his community and is very genial and pleasant and a good Republican, withal.
