Republican candidates for county offices:

HARVEY LYNCH

is a native of Tennessee, where he was born in Campbell county in 1849. He remained there until 1866. He was too young to enlist, but he did much valuable service for the Union army, and suffered much on account of his staunch Unionism and Republicanism. From Tennessee, he came to Lebanon, Ind., where he finished his education. He came to Hendricks county in 1868, almost penniless and has lived in this county ever since. He spent two years on a farm and then engaged in the milling and lumber business, which he has followed ever since. He is now engaged in this business in Danville, where he is regarded as one of the leading and most trust-worthy citizens.
