son of Isaac N. and Mary Medsker, was born in 1857. His early life was spent in this county and he attended school at Brownsburg. His father died when he was but six months old and he was early thrown on his own resources. When a young man, he went to Indianapolis to work, attending school at night. He became a contractor in roofings etc. in Indianapolis. Several years ago he bought his old home of ninety acres where he now lives engaged in farming. He is a zealous Republican.
