Republican candidates for county office:

H.H. WEAVER

was born north of Pittsboro and has always lived in this county. After graduating from the common schools, he attended the Central Normal College where he was a popular student. He finished his education at Butler University. He was a successful teacher, and has been for several years engaged in the mercantile business at Pittsboro. Mr. Weaver was the Captain of the Pittsboro Camp S.O.V. for two years and was also on Colonel Harvey's staff. He is greatly interested in church affairs, being especially prominent in Sunday school and Y.P.S.C.E. work. He is one of the young progressive Republicans of the county.
