WILLIAM L. WILSON

is a native of the township from which he hails—Center—where he was born in the year 1848. He lived on the farm until he enlisted in the 148th regiment Indiana Volunteer Infantry. After reaching his majority, he has been engaged in farming, trading and in business in Danville. He has been a high private in the ranks of the Republican party, always ready to do service for it and responding to every demand. In 1894 he was elected recorder and has proven an efficient officer.
