Divorce Notice for Addison Abney and Izora Abney

DIVORCE WANTED

Troubles of Addison Abney and wife [Izora Abney], which have been aired in the press at times, have finally landed in court, she applying for a divorce. She states that they were married April 9, 1903, and separated Dec. 20, 1913. She alleges that he is in the habit of becoming intoxicated, that he calls her vile names and is loud and rough, that one time he broke down a door and struck her on the head, causing her to stagger. He has failed to provide and spends his earnings for liquor and in other ways. They have no children. She wants $500 alimony.
