Pearl Jordan Denney vs. William T. Denney. Divorce. Plaintiff alleges they were married May 9, 1898 and separated Dec. 4, 1914; that plaintiff has been guilty of cruel treatment in that he would curse her, make fun of her religion and deride her for speaking in church; that he was addicted to the use of liquor and would bring it to the table when they were alone and when they had visitors; that he was guilty of other acts of cruelty which caused their married life to be an impossibility and plaintiff became sick and nervous; that on several occasions she left him and only returned on his solemn promise to do better and the same treatment was accorded her. She asks that her maiden name, Pearl Jordan, be restored.
