Divorce Notice for Harry Eastes and Emma A. Eastes

from The Republican (Danville, Indiana)—issue of Thursday, September 2, 1915—page 1, column 4:

FOR CONTEMPT OF COURT

Emma A. Eastes has filed suit to compel her former husband, Harry Eastes, from whom she was divorced Nov. 17, 1910, to contribute to the support of their children per decree of Court. The Court had ordered that he pay on the first of each month, $3 per week for the support of the children. Plaintiff says she has supported the children until the marriage of a daughter and the other children since. The defendant owed $750 on which he has paid $492, leaving a balance of $258. Plaintiff wants an order of Court against Harry Eastes requiring him to show cause why an attachment should not be issued for contempt of Court for failing to pay said sums.
