Divorce Notice for Edward Goss and Martha Alvira (Davis) Goss

Wife Charges Cruel Treatment

Cruel and inhuman treatment is charged by Martha Goss in a suit for divorce filed Tuesday against Edward Goss of Plainfield. It is alleged that Goss threatened to kill the plaintiff and that at times he not only ordered her to leave the home, but pushed her out of the door and put her clothing out after her. Mrs. Goss asks restoration of her former name, Martha Alvira Davis, and alimony of $1,000. The couple were married October 10, 1932, and separated Monday of this week.
