BROWNIE JOHNSON SUED FOR DIVORCE AND ALIMONY

Otis P. (Brownie) Johnson finds no relief from his troubles, even though he is in the Penal Farm. His wife, Edith H., has filed suit for divorce. She alleges failure to provide, that he has been convicted of the “infamous crime of bootlegging,” that he is guilty of cruel and inhuman treatment in that he would absent himself for weeks and months, that he cursed her, that he persisted in violating the liquor laws against her protests, that he would come home drunk. Plaintiff wants the custody of their four children, $1,000 alimony and $50 a month for support of the children.
