Divorce Notice for Oliver Jordan and Jennie Jordan

PLAINFIELD DOMESTIC TRAGEDY

Charging abandonment in general terms, Mrs. Jennie Jordan, of Plainfield, wants a divorce from Oliver Jordan. She alleges that her husband has roomed for weeks at the house of a woman of questionable character in Indianapolis; that the woman has come to Plainfield and called defendant from his home; that the woman has said in the hearing of neighbors that she is going to have him; that he continues to visit her house in Indianapolis and she comes to his home in Plainfield and disturbs plaintiff, her friends and neighbors. She also alleges intoxication. Plaintiff wants the custody of their three children, $5,000 alimony and $10 per week for their support. They were married Aug. 19, 1900, and separated in July.
