from The Republican (Danville, Indiana)—issue of Thursday, March 18, 1920—page 1, column 2:

ANOTHER UNHAPPY WOMAN SEEKS HELP OF COURT

Ruth D. Longmire in her complaint for divorce from Roy Longmire alleges that he called her objectionable names, said he did not care for her and told her to back to her parents' home, that she would prepare breakfast for him and he would refuse to get up to eat it, that when she would try to get him up, he would become angry and kick her, that he made frequent trips to Indianapolis and would not provide for his family, that he would become angry and not speak to plaintiff. One of their two children is cared for by defendant's parents and one by plaintiff. She wants the custody of the child she has and an allowance of $8 per week for each child. They were married Dec. 24, 1914 and separated Jan. 10, 1920.
