Divorce Notice for Lewis Marsh and Katherine Marsh

from The Republican (Danville, Indiana)--issue of Thursday, April 16, 1908—page 1, column 6:

Marsh vs. Marsh

According to his complaint for divorce, Lewis Marsh's matrimonial experiences were exciting and evidently too varied to suit him. He alleges that he and his wife, Katherine, were married Nov. 20, 1906 and separated April 1, 1908; that she refused to cook for him or take care of his household and that she would get mad at him and strike him with a poker; that in angry spells she would break dishes, window lights and furniture and would curse the plaintiff and call him vile names; that about January 1, 1908 without plaintiff's knowledge she took a large amount of his furniture and removed it to Indianapolis and placed it in a house on North Senate avenue and that she refuses to return to Danville and live with him. Wherefor [sic] he asks [for] a legal separation.
