Emma C. McHaffie vs. George W. McHaffie. Divorce. Plaintiff alleges they were married June 13, 1877 and separated Dec. 28, 1914; that in 1901, defendant had improper relations with one Helen Staley and that on July 20, 1914 and at other times with one Ethel Ottinger or Ethel Mack, the woman being known by both names; that in July 1914, plaintiff went to visit her married daughter in Louisville and while plaintiff was there, defendant brought Ethel Ottinger or Mack into plaintiff's home and kept her there two days and nights. Plaintiff says that immediately upon learning of this she and defendant ceased to live as man and wife. Plaintiff wants an absolute divorce and $20,000 alimony. Defendant is restrained from disposing of his property until further orders of the court. The parties are prominent people in Franklin township.
