Divorce Wanted
Lee McVay was acquitted on the charge of wife desertion in 'Squire Kennedy's court Friday. It seems that the differences of husband and wife, however, can not be reconciled and a divorce was agreed upon. Complaint for divorce has been filed in the circuit court by Mrs. [Carrie] McVay. She alleges cruel treatment in that he cursed her, struck her, [and] called her names. Failure to provide is also alleged. They have two children and plaintiff wants the custody of them at least half the time and six dollars per month for their support.
