Divorce Notice for Chester E. Mitchell and Clara B. Mitchell

ALLEGES CRUEL TREATMENT AND FAILURE TO PROVIDE

Clara B. Mitchell has filed suit for divorce from Chester E. Mitchell. She alleges cruel treatment in that he frequently called her vile names and swore at her and that he struck her many times. She also alleges that he has furnished no support for more than two years. She also alleges that he kept company with other women. Plaintiff wants the custody of their daughter, Louise, age 14, an allowance for her support and $1,000 alimony. Parties were married Aug. 15, 1906.

Upon affidavit of plaintiff, the Court issued an order restraining the defendant from selling or removing household goods from their home on Columbia street, Danville, and restraining him from molesting plaintiff and her daughter and from entering upon the premises on Columbia street.
