Asks For Divorce
Suit for divorce was filed in circuit court Tuesday by Richard Talmage Moore of Danville against Helen Lucille Moore. Cruel and inhuman treatment is charged. Among other allegations made by the plaintiff is that following their separation Mrs. Moore showed him what was purported to be a marriage license and introduced a man with her as her husband, saying that she had secured a divorce in Pennsylvania, her native state. Moore charges that her statements at this time were false. He alleges further that she insisted that he go to North Carolina to secure work, though he was at the time employed in Danville. It is charged also that the defendant has gone with other men. The couple was married December 19, 1929, and separated July 20, 1930.
