Wife Seeks Divorce
Suit for divorce was filed in circuit court Tuesday by Lucille Morris against Cassel Morris of Maplewood. Cruel and inhuman treatment is charged by the plaintiff, who alleges that Morris struck her in the face and threatened to injure her and their children. The complaint alleges that the husband used intoxicating liquors and kept it about the house and that other people were apt to come there at all hours of the day and night on this account. Mrs. Morris seeks custody of their five children ranging in age from 8 to 18 and asks $10 a week for their support. The couple was married in 1916 and separated in May, 1934.
