Suit For Divorce
Suit for divorce from Leslie V. Phillips was filed in circuit court Monday by May L. Phillips on the grounds of cruel and inhuman treatment. It is alleged that Phillips frequently threatened and struck at the plaintiff, and that he fussed continually and was not satisfied or congenial around the house, all of which caused Mrs. Phillips worry and mental anguish. The couple was married August 18, 1931, separated April 1, 1933, was reunited in August of the same year and lived together until January 15 of this year. Mrs. Phillips is now employed as a dishwasher in a Danville restaurant.
