Divorce Notice for Rholla Proffitt and Verna E. Proffitt

REASONS FOR DIVORCE

Rholla Proffitt wants a divorce from Verna E. Proffitt. They were married Aug. 10, 1916 and separated Oct. 3, 1917. Plaintiff alleges that prior to their separation, defendant was guilty of cruel and inhuman treatment, that she cursed him and struck him, that she failed to cook his meals, that defendant has no respect for plaintiff's authority in and about their home and has permitted her parents to come to the house and annoy plaintiff and seek to quarrel with him without provocation, that defendant has admitted she was guilty of adultery before the marriage and has intimated that she has been guilty of adultery since their marriage by saying to plaintiff that perhaps he was not the father of the child born to defendant since her marriage with plaintiff.

Rholla Proffitt vs. Verna E. Proffitt. Divorce. Finding for defendant upon complaint. Finding for defendant upon cross-complaint, that she is entitled to divorce and $900 alimony, the custody of the child and $12 per month for child until May 1923 and then $20 per month for child until child is 18 years old. Plaintiff ordered to pay $100 as defendant's attorney fee.
