Divorce Notice for Raymond E. Quilleon and Pharis M. Quilleon

from The Republican (Danville, Indiana)—issue of Thursday, June 1, 1922—page 5, column 4:

MANY REASONS ALLEGED

Pharis M. Quilleon asks for a divorce from Raymond E. Quilleon. She alleges cruel and inhuman treatment in that she has had to work for her own support, that defendant failed to provide for the necessary expenses of a home, that he has allowed bills for such expenses to go unpaid, that furniture had to be returned to the dealer from whom it was purchased, that plaintiff gave defendant money from her own earnings to pay bills, that defendant failed to use money for such purposes, that defendant was frequently away from home at night until 12:30 am, giving plaintiff no satisfactory answer as to where he had been, that defendant would become angry at plaintiff and refuse to speak to her for days, that defendant failed and refused to provide a home and has insisted upon living with his mother, who is cross, irritable and petulant and has frequently called plaintiff a liar and a fool and on many occasions told plaintiff that she wished that her son, the defendant, had never married her. Because of all this, it is impossible for plaintiff to live with defendant. Plaintiff wants the custody of their son, eleven months old, judgment for $1,000 and $8 per week for the support of the child. Parties were married June 19, 1920, and separated March 23, 1922.
