Stories of Those Who Wish Relief From Ills

[…] Rusha E. Ragland wants a divorce from Edward V. Ragland. They were married Nov. 10, 1898. She alleges that for the last five years, he has found fault with her, scolded her and threatened her, has repeatedly told her she was insane or crazy and has sought to humiliate her before her children; told her if she attempted to get a divorce he would take their two children and she would never see them again; that at the time of their marriage, she owned 72 acres in Franklin township, that she now owns the residence in Danville, 60 acres in Liberty township on which there is a mortgage of $1,200; that by reason of defendant's conduct, her health is impaired; that he has failed to provide. Plaintiff wants the custody of the two daughters and an allowance for their support. Restraining order granted forbidding defendant from interfering with plaintiff or the children.
