Divorce Notice for Grant Reeves and Hettie Reeves

MAKES LONG RECITAL IN SUIT FOR DIVORCE

Hettie Reeves asks for a divorce and $4,000 alimony from Grant Reeves, well known Union township farmer. She alleges cruel and inhuman treatment in that he refused to furnish their home properly as becomes his station in life, that he has continuously grumbled and cursed plaintiff, that he grumbled about the expense of a necessary surgical operation, that he has falsely accused her of improper conduct, that for two years he has refused to accompany her to church or to places of social entertainment, that when she would go alone, he would refuse to speak to her for several days at a time, that he has refused to furnish accommodations about his home that she has had to call on relatives and friends for assistance and help, that he refused to give her money to spend or pay expenses in visiting friends and relatives, that because of such treatment she became nervous and sick and when the physician would leave medicine, he would refuse to give it to her when she was not able to help herself, that defendant has real and personal property worth $12,000. They were married Dec. 10, 1919 and separated Jan. 2, 1924.
