Jessie Grace Sears was yesterday granted a divorce from Charles V. Sears at defendant's cost. A private agreement as to disposition of property is not made public. The parties were married Dec. 31, 1911. The complaint alleges cruel and inhuman treatment, that defendant treated plaintiff with coldness and indifference, that he frequently told her he had no affection for her, that he would frequently leave plaintiff alone at home until a late hour; that defendant, wholly disregarding the wishes of plaintiff, would often have his relatives come to home of plaintiff and defendant and remain and visit, on some occasions for days at a time, the presence of said relatives being objectionable to plaintiff, causing her to become nervous and sick; that defendant was in the habit of ridiculing plaintiff's church relations and would often for the purpose of annoying and aggravating plaintiff, curse and profane the practitioners or healers connected with her church and would refuse to give plaintiff money unless plaintiff rendered an accounting that any previous money given had not been paid to said practitioners or healers.
