Divorce Notice for Albert C. Sherrard and Erie E. (Scott) Sherrard

WANTS DIVORCE

Albert C. Sherrard makes serious allegations against his wife, Erie C. Sherrard in his complaint for divorce. They were married Dec. 23, 1908 and separated Feb. 22, 1913. Plaintiff alleges cruel and inhuman treatment in that defendant has been guilty of gross disloyalty in that she has kept company with other men, that on one occasion she went with two men to Indianapolis and remained there several days; that letters addressed to defendant have come into plaintiff's hands; that these letters have contained requests that defendant meet them at their expense; that defendant has become intoxicated; that she refused to keep their home. A second paragraph alleges abandonment.

Albert C. Sherrard vs. Erie E. Sherrard. Divorce. Defendant files cross-complaint in which she alleges that more than two years ago, plaintiff brought her to Indianapolis and left her with relatives and abandoned her, that he failed to provide and was guilty of cruel treatment in that he called her offensive names, that he would leave her alone all night, that he sold her effects and appropriated the money. Defendant wants a divorce, $1,500 alimony and her maiden name, Erie E. Scott.
