SEEKS TO HAVE CHILD UNTIL SUIT IS SETTLED

Following the suit for divorce filed by Clifton Shubert against Grace Shubert, the latter now files habeas corpus proceedings for the possession of their infant son. She alleges that by reason of the cruel treatment of her husband, she was compelled to leave home and that her husband took possession of the child and that he forcibly restrains the child of his liberty and deprives her of the possession of the child by forcibly confining the child at the home of defendant's father, George Shubert, one mile west of New Winchester; that the child is now left in the care of Clifton Shubert's mother; that plaintiff has nursed the child at the breast until a week ago, that the child is now fretful and sick and in need of the mother's care; that it would be best for the child to be under the protection of the plaintiff during the pendency of the divorce action. Mrs. Shubert also wants an allowance for support during the pendency of the action.
