Divorce Notice for Sterling Stringer and Beryl Stringer

WIVES ARE DEFENDANTS IN THESE DIVORCE SUITS

Sterling Stringer asks for a divorce from Beryl Stringer, alleging cruel and inhuman treatment, the particulars alleged being that she refused to cook plaintiff's meals, that she was slothful and dirty about the house work, that she failed and refused to make up the beds, sweep, clean or air the house by reason of which it became so filthy as to be sickening and nauseous to the plaintiff; that on numerous occasions defendant would fly into a rage, would curse plaintiff, calling him vile names, that on such occasions she would strike and beat plaintiff, that on one occasion she threw a water pitcher at him; that defendant was unreasonably jealous of plaintiff and refused to permit him to speak to other women of his acquaintance, that the defendant would frequently become angry without cause and refuse to speak to plaintiff for days. The parties are well known young people now living in Danville and formerly living in Plainfield. They were married Dec. 24, 1919 and separated July 5, 1921.
