Myrtle M. Walker vs. Curtis M. Walker. Divorce. Plaintiff alleges cruel treatment in that her husband left her and her infant child from November 1907 until the spring of 1909, without food, clothing or fuel and that since his return he has contributed but little to their support; that defendant has threatened to kill plaintiff and their child and threatened to kill the whole Ellis family and to burn their property; that defendant has threatened to kill plaintiff's mother; that defendant becomes intoxicated; that because of fear plaintiff was obliged to leave her home, going to the home of her father. Wherefore plaintiff wants a divorce, custody of child, $150 per year for the child's support and alimony for $500. Upon request of plaintiff the defendant is restrained from disposing of his personal property; from trespassing upon their home in Belleville and from molesting the person or property of the plaintiff or child. Walker was a formerly a well known teacher of the county.
