Divorce Notice for Oliver P. Wood and Flora (Tincher) Wood

from The Republican (Danville, Indiana)—issue of Thursday, April 12, 1906—page 1, column 4:

Family Troubles

Oliver P. Wood, of Franklin township, better known as Dick Wood, finds himself in the meshes of the circuit court and of 'Squire Kennedy's court. His wife, Flora Tincher Wood, has filed suit against him for divorce with $2,000 alimony and asks for a restraining order that he not be allowed to molest her or to go upon her premises. In 'Squire Kennedy's court she filed surety of the peace proceedings. This comes up for hearing tomorrow, Wood being out on $400 bond. Some weeks ago Mrs. Wood filed suit for divorce but an understanding was reached and she dismissed the case. She alleges cruel and inhuman treatment to a marked degree and asks that her maiden name, Flora Tincher, be restored.
