Sent to Camp Taylor, Ky.; assigned to Company C., 334th Infantry; Company C., 152nd Infantry. Transferred to Camp Shelby, Miss., assigned to Replacement Draft. Sailed overseas June 15, 1918. Assigned to Company D, 4th Infantry, 3rd Division. Killed in action July 23, 1918, Chateau-Thierry.
