Mrs. Mina Baldauf Dies at Pittsboro

Mrs. Mina Baldauf, age 67, died at her home north of Pittsboro, Sunday afternoon, following a long illness. She had been in failing health for more than a year.

Born in Center county, Pa., she came to Indianapolis following her marriage to William Baldauf, and they moved to a Boone county farm. Six years later they moved to the home near Pittsboro, where they lived for forty-seven years. Mr. Baldauf died December 27, 1945.

Surviving are four sons and three daughters, Mrs. Cora McDonald of Syracuse, N.Y.; Henry of Clay City; Carl, Vern and Mrs. Anna Emigholz of Indianapolis; Mrs. Edna Edwards, who lived with her mother and cared for her during her illness, and Ernest, who lived on the farm.

Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren, two sisters and four brothers. She was a member of the Pittsboro Christian church, and Pittsboro Study club.

Funeral services were held at McConnaha Funeral Home, Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., in charge of the Rev. James Shockley. Burial was in Crown Hill cemetery at Indianapolis.
