Mrs. Lawrence R. (Velma) Ball, 71, 5174 Norwaldo Avenue, died yesterday at a local nursing home. She was born at Milton, Ky. And lived in Indianapolis 38 years. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Flanner and Buchannan Broad Ripple Mortuary, with burial in Brownsburg (Ind.) Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, and her daughter, Mrs. Jacqueline S. Reed of Indianapolis.
