Mrs. Thad BANTA, sister-in-law of W.A. Banta 305 E. Market and a former Crawfordsville resident passed away at St. Augustine, FL Wednesday according to a message received here. Mrs. Banta's death followed an operation. The deceased was before her marriage Gertrude EMMONS of North Salem and known to many patrons here. The funeral was taken place at North Salem. Surviving are the husband and 4 children: Mrs. Helen Watson and Mrs. Lucille Parkhill and twins sons, James and William Banta all of St. Augustine, Mrs. Banta was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Emmons.
