Obituary for Harvey Morton Barlow

STROKE BRINGS SUDDEN DEATH TO HARVEY BARLOW

Harvey Morton Barlow died at his home near Tilden, Saturday evening, at 11 o'clock. He had been in Indianapolis and on his return, suffered a stroke which resulted in death two hours later. He was born half a mile from his late home 71 years ago being the youngest of nine children. One brother, James Barlow, was a former state representative from Hendricks county. He was a member of the White Lick Presbyterian church and a charter member of the I.O.O.F. lodge at Brownsburg.

He was married twice and the widow, Nettie Craver Barlow, three sons, Barker, Verner and Orin Barlow of Indianapolis, and one step-daughter, Mrs. Mertie Griggs, of near Ladoga, survive.

Funeral services were held in the White Lick Presbyterian church, Tuesday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, in charge of Rev. Aubry Moore, pastor of the Seventh Christian Church in Indianapolis, and Rev. Cox, pastor of the Speedway M.E. church. Burial was in White Lick cemetery.
