The body of Verner Barlow, a native of Hendricks County, was interred in the Salem Cemetery, Johnson County, Monday afternoon, following funeral services from the J. C. Wilson Chapel of the Chimes in Indianapolis.
A carpenter and a World War I veteran, Mr. Barlow died Friday in the Veterans Hospital on West 10th Street, following illness for a year.
Survivors include the widow, Hollis; four daughters, Marjorie Diane and Cynthia Barlow and Mrs. Mildred Rice; three sons, Fredrick, Darryl and Morris Dean, all of Indianapolis; two brothers, Barker Barlow of Indianapolis and Oren Barlow of Brownsburg.
