William Edgar Beaman died Monday evening at his home near Pittsboro at the age of 74. He had been in ill health for several months.
A native of Brown Township, he was a son of Adam and Rebekah McDaniel Beaman. He was married 51 years to Julia Hufford who survives with four children, Miss Doris and Eugene of Indianapolis, Francis Parsons of Brownsburg and Laurence at home. A brother, Willard, also lives in Indianapolis.
Services were held yesterday afternoon at the Jones & Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg. Burial was in the Lizton K. of P. cemetery.
