Thomas V. Broadstreet Buried At Stilesville

Thomas Verlyen Broadstreet, age 49, a former resident of Coatesville, died in a New York City hospital, last Thursday, following a two-week's illness from stomach ulcers. The body was brought to the Campbell Funeral Home, Coatesville, where services were held Sunday afternoon in charge of the Rev. Oscar Irwin. Burial was at Stilesville cemetery. Perry Rush, of Greencastle was soloist.

Mr. Broadstreet was a talented musician, and at the time of his death was a teacher of voice in New York City. He had been away from Coatesville about seventeen years, and at one time was a soloist at Christ Church on the Circle, Indianapolis. He attended DePauw University and studied music in Indianapolis. He was a member of the Masonic lodge at Stilesville.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Thomas Dorsett, and a brother, Martin Broadstreet, both of Coatesville.
