NORMAN C. CANARY
Norman C. Canary, age 80, Plainfield, died May 18, in a nursing home there. Services were May 21 at Hall-Baker Funeral Home, there. Rev. Carl A. Riley officiated. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
Born Jan. 22, 1905 at Martinsville, he was a son of Frank and Viola (Berger) Canary. He attended school at Clayton and married Minnie Bourne, who survives. A retired farmer, he had been a school bus driver for the Plainfield Community School Corporation for which he worked for 16 years.
He was a member of the Plainfield Rifle Club.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by a son, Russell of Detroit, Mich.; a daughter, Louise Frank of Atlanta, Ga., and two grandchildren.
