H.L. Clippinger Dies
Howard L. Clippinger, age 58, of Indianapolis died Thursday in the Methodist hospital. He had been ill only ten days although in failing health for several weeks. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Geraldine Clippinger, music teacher at Shortridge high school and the former Miss Geraldine Trotter of North Salem; and a sister, Mrs. Ray D. Bernes of Indianapolis.
Mr. Clippinger was a life resident of Indianapolis. He was an electrical engineer for the General Motors Corporation and was a member of Downey Avenue Christian church and Calvin Prather Masonic Lodge. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in Flanner and Buchanan mortuary. Those from North Salem who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Trotter, Mrs. Mae Trotter, Nora Trotter, Fern Cox and Lydia Williams.
