ENDED LIFE
James T. Davis, 55 years old, committed suicide, Friday afternoon, by drinking the great part of an ounce bottle of carbolic acid at the home of his brother, George E. Davis, 5 miles north of Danville on what was formerly known as the Mareen Stewart farm. Davis was a widower and since the death of his wife had acted queerly. He had been out of employment for some time and was despondent.
