Mrs. Matilda Davis Dead
Mrs. Matilda Davis, mother of Mrs. O.E. Nichols, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. O.E. Nichols, south of Brownsburg, Sunday afternoon. She was 88 years old. Mrs. Davis had been an invalid the past four years. Until a few weeks ago when the family moved to a farm near Brownsburg, Mrs. Davis made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Nichols at this place. The funeral was held Tuesday morning at the home of J.T. Higgins on West Main street and burial was in the South Cemetery. Mrs. Nichols is the only surviving child.
