J. C. Dill, 80, a Brownsburg resident the past 48 years, died Monday, Feb. 1, in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born April 11, 1912, he was the son of Charles and Ona Clark Dill. He married Betty Smith April 4, 1942 and she survives.
Mr. Dill, a Navy veteran of World War II, had been an agent for Prudential Insurance Company 23 years, retiring in 1975. He was a member of Brownsburg American Legion Post and Brownsburg Masonic Lodge.
Services were Thursday, Feb. 4, in Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, Rev. William E. Warnock officiated, with burial in Brownsburg Cemetery.
Surviving with his wife are daughter, Sharon Archer, Brownsburg; sons, David Dill, Brownsburg, and Dennis Dill, Chicago, Ill.; brother, Russell Dill, Indianapolis; sister, Leola Arthur, Indianapolis; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
