Nelle Mae Garner, 95, died Saturday, Feb. 29. Born in Bartholomew County, she lived most of her adult life in Brownsburg, before moving to Florida in 1969.
She was the widow of Herman P. Garner and member of St. Jude's Episcopal Church in Orange City.
Surviving are daughter, June Hornbeck; son-in-law, Stan Hornbeck; four grandchildren; Paul, Carol, Daniel and Stanley Hornbeck Jr., five great-grandchildren; and sister, Edna Gooch.
