OPAL GARNER, MARTINSVILLE
Plainfield--Services were last Monday for Opal B. Garner, 79 of Martinsville, who died last Friday at the Morgan County Hospital.
A former Plainfield resident, she was born July 5, 1905, in Crown Center, to George and Nora Baldock.
Mrs. Garner, who was a retired as a teacher in the Indianapolis Public School system, was member of the Plainfield Christian Church, the Plainfield PEO Sisterhood, and Delta Alpha Gamma sorority.
Her husband, Hubert, preceded her in death in 1979.
Surviving are a nephew, two cousins, and three sisters-in-law.
Services were held at the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, with the Rev. Warren Robbins officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery.
