LITTLE ONE GONE
Virgil Garner, Little Son of Charles Garner and Wife, Gives Up Life from Strange Malady

Sunday morning occurred the death of Virgil Garner, 5-year-old son of Charles Garner and wife, who live two miles north of Brownsburg. Virgil has been sick for several weeks past with a complication of diseases and which one predominated in sapping away the young life is only a matter of conjecture. Everything possible in the way of professional skill was given a chance to conquer the dreaded diseases which were at work upon him, but with all that could be done for him, he wasted away and succumbed to their attack. The funeral services were conducted at the home of his parents on New Year's day, Elder L. H. Graham officiating, who spoke feelingly and tenderly of the little departed soul, and offered such consolations as were at his command to the sorrowing family. After the services the funeral cortege arrived at Green Lawn Cemetery at 3 o'clock p.m. and Virgil's body was tenderly consigned to the grave by loving hands. Mr. and Mrs. Garner, brothers and sisters of the little one just passed beyond, all have the tenderest sympathy of loving friends and neighbors in their hour of affliction.
