Services were August 7, at the Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, for Wilma M. Garner, age 96, lifetime resident of Brownsburg, who died August 4, at her home. Carl Prokop officiated. Burial was in the Brownsburg Cemetery. Born Dec. 9, 1899 she was daughter of Clarence Phillips. She married Walter Garner on Oct. 1, 1919. He preceded in 1984. A homemaker, she was a 65-year member of Bethesda Baptist Church, Brownsburg. Survivors include daughters, Betty Cornett of Brownsburg and Margaret Toney of Potomac, Md.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
